Ainsley Says Her Name

For awhile now Ainsley has had a handful of words she says: Mamma (which is pretty good), more, up, down, all done, no, yes, Dadda(maybe). The newest addition at the end of April was her name.  Usually she signs while she speaks, which is how we know for sure what word she is saying.  While it may be difficult to understand the actual spoken word the intention is clearly there. In this case the hand on the chest meaning "me", while she says "Ainsley." We are SO proud of her! We hope that this is a sign that one day she may speak clearly enough that other people can understand her. Here it is on video. Enjoy!

  1. EEEEKKK!!
Ainsley my darling beautiful girl, I heard you say your name!! I am so, so proud of you. You are brilliant, I am going to keep playing this over and over and over again because it makes me smile.

Susan, Wah!!! I missed your phone call twice! Mr. Pedersen and I went out on a date tonight, can you believe that? It has been almost one year since we have had a date. We ate crab, and lobster and then went to the movies. I only wish we could do it more often.

Please know I have been thinking of you.
    Hugs, and more hugs.
All the love in the universe from me to you.

  2. Agh I love it! It sounds so clear near the end! Dang this is good stuff, are you over the moon? I am over the moon! I love the annoyed look she gives too, as in how many times are you gonna make me say my name.

  3. Okay last time.....maybe. Wicked, awesome, cool, spectacular, amazing, Ainsley, Ainsley, Ainsley, Ainsley, Ainsley, Ainsley, 6 times that is how many times you said your name! I love it and you should be so proud of yourself!!
