Even though Harlie has several different conditions that could bring me to a "cause" bigger than her, none of them do it for me. I just don't believe it will make a difference, really. I love how we all grieve, yet feel lucky at the same time. We know too much! ;-)

Evie is just beautiful and I loved seeing her ballet pics. The SN dance sequence makes me wonder if I should get Harlie into something like that. But, then I know I would sit and cry, too. Both for grief and for gratefulness. So crazy this life we live!

Love ya!
Christy xoChristyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12158503749591171395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1302630430617143369.post-82876155038558507292013-02-04T08:54:15.760-08:002013-02-04T08:54:15.760-08:00Raelyn, my uncle was 50. It did contribute to his death which I believe was from pneumonia. Also the cause of my father's death in his 50's. I was adopted so luckily I do not have to be concerned about developing MD myself or passing it on to my children.

After years of shooting I've gotten pretty good at alternating my focus between the viewfinder and the event I'm watching, it is never quite as enjoyable to me as when I can give my full attention.Luckily the studio produces a DVD so I'll get to see the performance as many times as I like when it comes.

Thanks for your comments.Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16092188894818322564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1302630430617143369.post-79149301237316299512013-02-04T08:32:54.373-08:002013-02-04T08:32:54.373-08:00Beautiful, honest post. I am currently in a period of my life where I am working on being truely happy, not just complacent, with this life that I have been given. Your words touched me. Thanks for sharing. What a great family you have! I tried to snap some pictures, but then kept missing good plays!! Whoops. :-(
"A special needs dance"? How neat!! How old was your uncle when he died? Just wondering....
"Because no matter how many hours I work with Ainsley I don't know if she will ever be able to walk independently. I don't know if she'll speak. I don't know if she'll eat. I don't know if she'll read. Have a job." Oh, Susan.... ;)
--Hugs--
--Raelyn
Mary Louhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01005199691237610718noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1302630430617143369.post-1577639881726726462013-02-02T21:03:15.579-08:002013-02-02T21:03:15.579-08:00Great post Susan and I agree - you have 3 beautif...Great post Susan and I agree - you have 3 beautiful kids and much to be proud of!

xoxoAnnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10834197308019791700noreply@blogger.com
